Dopefish
"Housecalls EP"
Fresh from his floor detonating activities with the Big Bad Wolf EP and his Skwonk Squad remix
Fresh from his floor detonating activities with the Big Bad Wolf EP and his Skwonk Squad remix, Belgian fidget freak Dopefish returns to the Y4K fold with another explosive EP.
Things get off to a seasonal start, as "From the Sun" combines a summery, feel good vocal sample with mon-typical filtery pads and moogy riffs, before kicking off into more familiar bassline territory, only to return for more sparkly vocal/ filter riff action periodically throughout.
"House Calls" see the Fish back on more familiar territory, ripping samples up and shredding them across ever shifting layers of neo rave riffery and wonked out basslines for an urgent, driving dancefloor workout.
"Squeeze Ya Neck" combines the fattest beats, roughest bass and biggest riffs of the lots, and if the only way to close off another quality package from our favourite Belgian.
